The South Carolina Fire Academy in Columbia, SC had an inoperable washer and dryer and needed our help to re-design their laundry room. Not only did they need a washer and dryer that could properly handle turnout gear but they also needed to wash bed linen and regular clothing for those staying at the academy. The 110lb capacity B&C washer with advanced electronic controls allowed us to program specific cycles for each type of garment being washed. The 120lb B&C dryer with micro humidity sensing controls allowed us to program individual drying cycles as well. The humidity sensing feature eliminates over-drying that can damage turnout gear, the dryer automatically stops when the specified remaining moisture level is reached which protects and prolongs the life of the gear.
